Micaela Staudenmaier, MA, LPC, NCC
I am committed to supporting individuals and couples through life’s transitions with thoughtful, compassionate, and consistent care. My work focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the emotional weight that can come with seasons of change. I strive to create a grounded, welcoming space where clients can process their experiences, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful growth.
I work primarily with young adults, professionals, parents, couples and women navigating perimenopause and post-menopause, as well as men facing life transitions. I support clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally disconnected, or unsure of their next steps. Many of the individuals I work with are managing stress, irritability, low motivation, burnout, or shifts in identity and relationships.
I am EMDR basic trained and incorporate trauma-informed care into my work, helping clients process both trauma and complex trauma in the Hamilton and Fairfield Ohio areas, as well as anywhere in Ohio (virtually). This may include symptoms such as emotional reactivity, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, numbness, difficulty trusting others, negative self-beliefs, or feeling “stuck” despite insight and effort. My goal is to help clients not only understand their experiences, but also move through them in a way that creates lasting change.
My approach is collaborative and integrative. I tailor each session to the individual, focusing on practical tools, insight, and emotional processing.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and aim to provide care that is respectful of each client’s unique background and story. For clients who desire it, I also incorporate faith into the counseling process in a way that feels natural and supportive.
I currently serve clients in Ohio and am under the clinical supervision of La’Keyta I. Hoffmann, MA, LPCC-S, and Carolyn Conrad, LISW.
